About ToolsProZone
ToolsProZone is a software review site for people who run, or are about to start, an online store.
I’m Adrian Cole, the writer behind it. I started the site because choosing store software is harder than it should be. Most “best apps” lists look alike, skip the real monthly cost, and rarely say who a tool is wrong for. I want ToolsProZone to answer the questions a store owner actually has before paying for something.
Who this site is for
- People planning to launch a Shopify or dropshipping store and unsure which software they need first
- Small store owners comparing two tools and trying to avoid wasting a trial period
- Anyone who wants to know what a tool costs after the free plan ends
If you already know exactly what you need, the comparison pages are the fastest way to confirm it.
What you’ll find here
- Reviews: a look at one tool at a time, covering what it does, what it costs, where it falls short and who should skip it.
- Comparisons: side-by-side pages for two tools people often choose between.
- Best Software: roundups for a specific job, such as dropshipping apps or email marketing for stores.
- Guides: practical how-tos and cost breakdowns, such as what software a new store needs and what it costs per month.
How I write reviews
Every review is labelled so you know what it’s based on:
- Tested: I signed up or installed the tool and used it, and the page shows what I recorded, such as setup steps, costs and problems.
- Research-based: I haven’t used the tool myself. The page draws on the vendor’s own documentation, pricing pages and other published sources, and says so near the top.
I never present a research-based review as hands-on testing. The full process is on the How We Test page.
Prices and accuracy
Software pricing changes often. Prices on this site come from the vendor’s own pages, and each page shows the date I last checked. Please confirm the current price with the vendor before you buy. If you spot something out of date, tell me and I’ll fix it. Fixes of any significance are logged on the Editorial & Corrections Policy page.
How the site makes money
Some links on ToolsProZone are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That income pays for running the site.
It doesn’t decide what I recommend. Every tool gets a “who it isn’t for” section, including tools I earn from. I’ll say when a recommendation pays me nothing, and a tool that pays well will still be marked down if it doesn’t hold up. Read the full Affiliate Disclosure.
What I won’t do
- Promise you income or sales from any tool
- Claim a tool is “the best” without saying for whom
- Publish a review as tested when it isn’t
- Accept payment to change a verdict
What I am not
I’m not a software engineer, and I haven’t used every tool on the market. Where I’m working from research instead of experience, I’ll tell you.
